Over the years, we’ve developed a ritual of eating dinner at the bar of a neighbor restaurant. It’s a great chance to enjoy our favorite dishes, meet new people, and of course enjoy a signature cocktail. We fondly remember an Italian restaurant in our local neighborhood. We got to know the bartender, who shared some of his recipes with us. The bartender and restaurant are no longer there, but the memories live on.
Here’s our version of an adult lemonade made with gin and limoncello. It’s a refreshing drink to enjoy on a hot afternoon. It pairs nicely with oysters and is also a nice apéritif prior to an Italian dinner.
